Paleo Dinner Time

We have been focusing on Clean Eating a lot the last weeks and as we are already talking about January we're having a nice recipe for you in order to help you find back to old shape ;) 

Deliciously marinated chicken wings on a fresh lemony spinach and fava bean salad. 

No gluten, low in carbs and rich in proteins and vitamins. The recipe is very easy to prepare, light anf filling by the same time.

  • A package of chicken wings1  pcs
  • A jar of fava beans1  pcs
  • A package of baby spinach1  pcs
  • Red onions1  pcs
  • Lemon1  pcs

Good to have at home

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic cloves1 pcs
  • Sweet paprika powder0.5 tsp.
  • Honey1 tsp.

How to do:


  • Preheat the oven to 210°C (fan).
  • Peel and press the garlic. In a large bowl, combine garlic, a dash of olive oil, honey, a good pinch of salt and sweet paprika powder. Add the chicken wings combine until they are well coated. Add the chicken wings to a lined baking tray and bake them for approx. 35 min. until golden brown. Turn them once after 15 min. of baking.
  • Meanwhile, clean the spinach. Peel and chop the onion. Wash the lemon and grate some peel. Squeeze out some lemon juice. Drain the fava beans into a colander and rinse them with water. Heat some olive oil in a large pan and sauté the onion for 2-3 min. on medium heat. Add the fava beans and heat them for 2-3 min. Add the spinach and let wilt. Fold in the lemon zest and season to taste with salt, pepper and a dash of lemon juice.


  • Arrange the chicken wings with white bean spinach salad on plates and enjoy while the chicken wings are still hot.
