Eat raw soups!

Raw soups a a great way to create easy, nutritious and quick dishes to pimp up your raw diet. 

When vegetables are being cooked they can lose nutitional value. This easy-to-make recipe provides you nutrients and enzymes. Raw soup is always a good opportunity to eat clean. It is good for weight loss and can improve your digestion.  

The soup's tasty texture comes with added avocado to smoothen the soup. Remember to add some lemon juice to prevent the avocado from discoloring. For the rest, all you need is a blender ;-)

Ingredients

  • Carrots800  g
  • Avocado2  pcs
  • Tomatoes300  g
  • Yellow bell pepper2  pcs
  • Ginger20  g
  • Cedar nuts40  g
  • A package of red sprouts1  pcs

Good to have at home

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic cloves2 pcs
  • Water800 ml
  • Sweet paprika powder1 tsp.
  • Coconut oil1-2 tsp.
  • Flaxseed oil

How to do:

  • Peel and coarsely chop carrots. Pit, peel and cube avocado. Drizzle with some lemon juice to prevent from discoloring. Wash and cube tomatoes. Wash, core and cube bell pepper. Peel and finely chop garlic and ginger.
  • Add all prepared ingredients, coconut oil and the water to your blender or food processor. Pulse until smooth. Prepare in 2 batches if your blender cup is too small. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sweet paprika powder.
  • Roast cedar nuts on a dry pan. Set aside and leave to cool down.
  • Add the raw carrot ginger soup to bowls and top with sprouts and cedar nuts. Drizzle with some flax seed oil and sprinkle with some freshly ground black pepper.
