Avocado Truffels

Check out these truffels which melt on your tongue and have a great intense chocolate taste. They're Vegan, Lactose free, Gluten free and even have a healthy avocado twist!

They were an absolute hit at the Lët'z Go Local Market last weekend. Jette had baked all night to offer these free treats to all the visitors at our stand!

Ingredients for approx. 20 truffels

  • Ripe avocado: 1 pcs.
  • Dark couverture chocolate: 120 g
  • Cocoa powder: 3 tbsp.
  • Vanilla powder: 1 tbsp.
  • Raw cane sugar: 1-2 tbsp.

How to cook:

  1. Coarsely cut the chocolate. Transfer to a bowl and melt over hot water.
  2. Meanwhile halve Avocado and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. In a bowl mash the avocado flesh with a fork and season with vanilla or tonka bean (you can also use orange zest, lavender etc.)
  3. Mix the avocado mash with melted chocolate. Add some sugar if you like it more sweet.
  4. Keep in the fridge for min. 1 hour.
  5. Use a spoon to scoop the chocolate into small balls. Roll between your palms.
  6. Tip cocoa powder (you can use any other toppings instead) into a bowl and carefully roll the truffels until completely coated. Place on a dish and keep cool in the fridge
